Caravan Holiday - Main Beach Caravan Park, Gold Coast

 A long weekend down the coast for two reasons - one is to catch up with our ever busy son and his partner and the second to enjoy some RNR.

We caught up with our son at the restaurant he works at.. he is a chef there and is constantly talking food... lol

Entrees were sent over from his mates in the kitchen..

Conversations were had of how Keelan is taller than his father - lol - so he posed in the next photo of him being shorter.. lol - your such a wag Keelan.  Love ya heaps.. 

The weather turned and I spent some time in the van catching up on some sewing and reading.  I don't mind the rain, it's lovely listening to it - one of my favourite things to do.

Can you see my husband metal detecting in the dark..lol  MMM - wonder if that is safe..

I left him on the beach and headed to the van.  He managed to find a necklace, ring and $46.  Oh and he didn't get zapped by lightning... phew.  

Saturday night had us meeting up with Cam and Tatiana (Wayne's brother and partner) for dinner.. Lovely evening - always heaps of chatting.

On the last day we did a little shopping at Harbour town - I bought several outfits for a future grand-daughter, whom I am soooo looking forward to meeting...
