Sea Princess Cruise to New Zealand - day 7

Akaroa
Coming into port...
After such a big day yesterday, we decide to keep things simple today.. just a bit of walking around the town.
At one of the shops, we came across an antique 'renovated' sewing machine - how cool - unfortunately it weighed a ton and the shop keeper wanted $800 for it.. MMmmm Me think maybe I should give it a miss... pity though..
This is a 'french' colonised town and a lot of the shops depicted the French theme... but I am not real sure why they thought it was a good idea to put spikes in the chain fencing..ouch...
Dale and I investigating a whale boiling pot.   Looking up and down the street and across the beach..
We were lucky and they had a small markets on today - omg - we had the best chocolate mint slice.. it was soooo good, we went back for another piece..
We loved clowning around at this statue..
Back on board we saw the Comedy Duo - Pearson and Harvey (two of the Four Kinsmen)..  Great show with lots of laughs..
Time for resting again... this holidaying stuff is exhausting..
cheers..
